The wee Scotch Corner ice cream shop, located in Pitlochry is the perfect stop if you are driving back to Edinburgh from the Highlands or if you are just desperate to try their famous Whisky flavoured ice cream... Yes that’s right you heard me correctly, they do Whisky flavoured ice cream!

I of course had to try it and it really did taste similar! I can’t even think to imagine how many ice creams the locals buy here for this very reason, as it was certainly delicious and had me hooked. The little store is packed with all sorts of old-fashioned Scottish sweets, gifts and souvenirs along with a whole host of other ice cream flavours. I would have loved to of tried their other iconic Scottish flavour – Tablet (which is said to be a big like fudge)!

It's a busy little shop, but well worth the visit and a brilliant last stop to end your Highlands experience with some authentic and unique Scottish flavoured ice cream.
