Lost Souls Pizza
Did you know that the world’s only vampire themed pizzeria is based only a short walk from Camden Town tube station? Plus, to heighten its gothic horror style even more, it’s located opposite a funeral directors and has a ram’s head pentagram welcoming you as you enter.
Inside you are greeted with dark retro décor, spooky skull lampshades, ghoulish painted walls with Nosferatu looking over your shoulder and lots of creepy little Boglins dotted around (that’s one to google if you haven’t heard of them before). The restaurant oozes with character with old school classics blurring out from the speakers and superb service staff making everyone feel particularly welcome and looked after.
The menu consists of a large variety of their signature black pizzas, to which they add a pinch of vegetable charcoal, to create their light and crispy bases. A selection of their iconic options include: The Jack Skellington, From Crust ‘til Balls, Fangs for the Memories and The Coffin Dodger amongst many more “pun-tastic” choices! Their deathly pies are most notorious for their satanic pentagram glaze, which you can ask to add to any pizza to protect yourself from the evil forces which might be floating around in there!
After much deliberating I opted for the ‘Have you seen Laddie’ which was devilishly good and completely sold me on the cult vampire style pizzas. In addition to the food make sure to check out their quirky cocktail concoctions including their ‘Necroni’ and ‘White Trash Reviver’.
A ‘fangtastic’ dark eatery to add to your must visit list; one even Dracula himself would approve of!
