General Terms of Service

  • By placing an order through the website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Shipping Information

  • All prints are made to order in the UK and shipped worldwide.

  • Orders are dispatched via Royal Mail Tracked for both UK and international deliveries, unless an alternative method is requested.

  • During busy periods, please allow up to 10 working days for your order to be dispatched.

Delivery & Responsibility

  • International delivery times vary by destination and customs processing, typically ranging from 7 to 45 days.

  • Once your item has been shipped, it is no longer under our control. If you experience any issues or your item does not arrive, please contact Royal Mail directly and email me at v@thealternativeguide.com so I can assist where possible.

Customs Fees & Unclaimed Packages

  • For customers outside the UK, please be aware that customs duties and VAT are not included in the shipping price.

  • International buyers are responsible for any additional charges imposed by their country’s customs authorities. These fees vary by location, so I strongly recommend checking your local regulations before placing an order to avoid unexpected costs.

  • Once your parcel arrives in your country, your local postal service will contact you if any customs or VAT payments are required to release the item.

Undelivered & Returned Orders

  • If a package is returned to the UK due to being unclaimed or after multiple failed delivery attempts, the buyer will be responsible for covering any additional postage costs for the package to be resent to the UK.

Returns & Refunds

  • At this time, we do not offer returns or refunds. Please ensure you are happy with your selection before placing your order.

Damages & Defects

  • If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact me at v@thealternativeguide.com within 7 days of receipt. To initiate a claim with our courier, we’ll need clear photos of the damaged packaging and item.

  • While we take great care in preparing and sending your order, we cannot be held responsible for any packages that are lost, delayed or damaged in transit.

Lost Packages

  • If you suspect your package has been lost in transit, please first check the tracking information provided in your dispatch email. To resolve any lost parcel issues, you must notify me within 28 days of dispatch. We’ll do our best to locate your package or arrange a replacement if necessary.

Intellectual Property

  • All artwork, designs and content on this site are the intellectual property of Victoria White and may not be reproduced, copied or used without permission.

  • Purchasing a print does not grant any rights to reproduce or distribute the artwork.

Privacy Policy

  • We respect your privacy. Any personal information you provide will be used solely to process your order and will not be shared with third parties, except as required for delivery purposes.
